We get a lot of calls, emails, and counter questions about piercing minors…

Here’s a little breakdown of the paperwork and identification needed in order for our minor-aged fans:

-All minors, per St. Louis County, need to have a completed supplied notarized form.

-Those 14-17 will need either a valid State Issued ID (available at any DMV/DOR office), or their school-issued ID, along with their original (ie raised seal, not photocopy) birth certificate.

-Those 4-13, we can accept the above birth certificate, along with their original Social Security Card.

As always, if you have any questions, or need any clarifications, we are here to help .

Bayle DeRousse

We carry a wide range of jewelry for a wide range of piercings, and as always we guarantee the jewelry that we pierce with! Many shops use inferior jewelry, but you can be sure that only an implant grade, surgical steel or titanium piece of jewelry has been used on your piercing. Also, when you are pierced at Iron Age, you will receive an aftercare guide for your reference that has your piercers contact information, jewelry info, and expected healing times. If there is something you are looking for that we don’t carry, you can come in and make a custom order. Our knowledgeable staff has the experience and dedication to make your body modification a pleasant, safe and sanitary experience. We choose to focus on quality in what we do and how we do it. While other shops continue to cut corners, we stay consistent with our efforts to provide the highest caliber. We have a body piercer working every day so you can call, email or come in anytime.
